The privately owned Iasis Hospital, Gavrilakis General Clinic S.A. is a
model Diagnostic – Therapeutic – Surgical & Research Center located
in the city of Chania. Iasis Hospital covers the local community’s
essential needs both in terms of primary and secondary health care.

Currently, the private Iasis Hospital is established in a modern building of 3200 sq.m., in the center of the city of Chania, and it is manned by a staff of experienced and first class trained Physicians, nurses and logistics personnel, so as to cover all health care needs.
Mission
We have organized a large medical unit that covers the medical needs of
western Crete residents as well as visitors (both foreign and Greek).

History
Iasis Hospital, Gavrilakis General Clinic S.A. was established in 1977
by the company’s President and Managing Director, Dr. Gavrilakis Ilias.
Up to 1992 the facility operated as an Obstetrics – Gynecology Clinic.
In 1993 the building facility expanded and became a Mixed Surgical
Clinic. In 1994 the facility was transformed into a General Clinic,
while between 2002 and 2004 it expanded further to an adjacent
bordering plot, where a new wing of 2000 sq.m. was constructed. Thus,
with the initial building combined, the two facilities comprised a
modern, unified architectural and operational unit of 3200 sq.m.
